Kidlink for Seniors

Retirement is an opportunity, not an excuse. You can capitalize on retirement by volunteering to work with kids. Use your wisdom of maturity. You can make an enduring difference for young people in a meaningful way.

Kids look at grandmas and grandpas with special respect and admiration. They put grandmas and grandpas in a separate category from parents who are symbols of authority. They are relaxed with grandparents, - others too. The wealth of unending and appealing curiosity blossoms in the excitement of new discoveries as they tell you their feelings and ask you about yours.

Even if you are wheelchair, bed or otherwise physically restricted you can nourish the unlimited curiosity of the young ones and send them on the way of avenues of beneficial meaning and accomplishment. Via the marvel of the Internet, and Kidlink, you can experience the gratifying pleasure of sensing your wisdom of maturity flowing into the receptive minds of the young ones.

The lives of many children could be enriched by you developing a relationship with them. Join Kidlink as an adopted grandma or grandpa and get acquainted with these wonderful kids. You will find a new substance to your lives you never thought possible.
